It’s safe to say that as soon as I met Alan, I liked him. He’s engaging, but not overbearing. He’s talented, but not arrogant. Alan attended Startup Weekend not as a mentor, but as a guest – who ended up taking home ‘best mentor’ for his long hours solving peoples problems, providing good advice (even if it hurt) and adding value to almost anyone who had a chance to chat with him. I’ve no doubt that Alan and I will be working together one way or another over the coming months/years.
