When leaders cannot see the lenses shaping their own perception, they unknowingly reinforce the very conditions they seek to change. The real work is not solving problems within the system, it is evolving the system that produces the problems. Until we lead from a worldview that can integrate complexity, paradox and emergence, we remain exquisitely sophisticated participants in our own fragmentation.
